Direct message the job poster from Planet PharmaOverviewLocation: Seattle, WA (Relocation Required)Department: Medical AffairsReports to: VP of Manufacturing Sciences and R&DSalary: $167,000 – $219,000 + 15% BonusTravel: Up to 60%Position SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to cover the Northwest U.S. region, including WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, CO, ND, SD, NE, KS, MN, IA, and AK. This field-based role is responsible for scientific exchange, thought leader engagement, and clinical trial support related to PROVENGE and the prostate cancer treatment landscape. This is a player-coach role, managing a team of three direct reports while also maintaining an active territory.Location & EligibilityMust be based in or willing to relocate to Seattle, WAStrong preference for local candidates or those able to relocate immediatelyCandidates from California will not be considered unless relocating to WA or another state in the territoryDuring non-travel periods (e.g., 3–4-week gaps), expected to work onsite in the Seattle officeKey ResponsibilitiesScientific EngagementBuild and maintain relationships with KOLs, HCPs, and stakeholders in oncology and immuno-oncologyPresent clinical and scientific data in a compliant mannerAttend and represent the company at conferences, symposia, and advisory boardsClinical Research SupportIdentify and engage investigators for company-sponsored trialsFacilitate communication between investigators and clinical operationsProvide support and guidance on investigator-initiated trials (IITs)Medical EducationDeliver scientifically balanced, non-promotional education to HCPs and internal teamsLead cross-functional training initiatives (Sr. MSL level)Strategic Insights & CollaborationGather and share scientific and competitive intelligence from the fieldContribute to national and regional medical strategiesManage and mentor three MSLs located in the Northeast, Southeast, and Southwest regionsServe as a senior scientific resource and contribute to team development and strategic planningQualificationsRequiredAdvanced degree: PharmD, PhD, or MD (foreign MD accepted; board certification not required)Minimum 3 years of experience in an FDA-regulated industryAt least 2 years of experience in oncology, immuno-oncology, or a related fieldStrong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skillsProven ability to lead or mentor other MSLs or team membersWillingness and ability to travel up to 60%Senior MSL SpecificMinimum 3 years of experience as an MSL in oncology or immuno-oncologyDemonstrated leadership experience with direct reports or as a team leadAbility to work cross-functionally and influence national-level strategyPreferredExperience in cell therapy or immunotherapyExisting relationships with prostate cancer KOLsFamiliarity with clinical trial protocols and IIT processesTerritory CoveragePrimary Focus: WA, MN, COAdditional States: AK, OR, ID, MT, WY, ND, SD, NE, KS, IATravel expectations will vary based on state concentration, minimal travel to remote areas like Alaska #J-18808-Ljbffr
