Indiana Health Centers, Inc. (IHC) is a mission-driven organization providing high-quality, affordable healthcare to underserved and uninsured populations since 1977. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), IHC offers primary medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare services through ten centers, eight WIC locations, and a Mobile Health Unit, serving diverse community populations across Indiana. Description The Chief Growth Officer (CGO) will work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to lead strategic initiatives that drive growth, innovation, and sustainability. This role is ideal for a visionary leader with deep experience in FQHCs or similar healthcare environments. Build and sustain collaborative relationships with academic institutions to advance workforce development initiatives, residency programs, and clinical research opportunities. Serve as a key representative in advocating with state and federal legislators, policymakers, and agencies to ensure IHC’s mission and patient populations are supported through favorable policy, funding, and regulatory frameworks. Value-based Care And Innovation Lead the development and execution of value-based agreements with payers, ensuring alignment with IHC’s quality and financial goals. Drive innovation through new care models, integrated service delivery, and performance improvement strategies that support population health and long-term sustainability. Seek and secure grant opportunities that enable innovation and position IHC at the forefront of community healthcare transformation. Organizational Leadership And Strategy Partner with the CEO and ELT to design and implement short- and long-term organizational strategies. Monitor and guide major cross-functional projects to maximize opportunities and minimize risks with an emphasis on community impact, growth, and quality outcomes. Provide oversight of real estate and facilities strategy, including new construction, renovations, and preventive maintenance planning. Serve as a strategic sounding board to the CEO and ELT, ensuring priorities are clearly communicated and achieved. Governance, Communications, And Advocacy Under the direction of the CEO, oversee the IHC Community Involvement Committee (CIC) and strengthen relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and media. Support Board of Directors engagement by preparing strategic updates, executive briefings, and advocacy materials. Represent IHC at statewide and national forums, advancing IHC’s visibility and influence in the FQHC and broader healthcare community. Strong understanding of value-based care models, legislative advocacy, and healthcare financing. Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities. Technology Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to work with relational databases. Requirements Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, or related field preferred. 5+ years of senior leadership experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or comparable healthcare environment.
