We are committed to providing dependable liquidity, which is crucial for market stability, investor confidence, and efficient trading across asset classes.About This RoleResponsibilitiesInterfacing directly with traders to understand their use cases and the nuances of a given modelCollaborating on end-to-end research initiatives to map elements of trader intuition into quantitative modelsOptimizing and supporting existing modelsDriving the company forward with new ideas that leverage market dataWorking with software engineers to ensure reliable data delivery and translating research results to productionPerforming duties for PEAK6 HC Holdings LLC or its affiliates as neededYour ExperienceExperience working with Equity Derivatives2-3 years in quantitative research, machine learning, statistics, quantitative trading, or related field involving modeling on large datasetsProgramming experience, Python preferred, especially for exploring large datasetsBachelors, Masters, or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Financial Engineering, or related quantitative fieldA demonstrated track record of applying modeling techniques to real-world problemsAbility to collaborate with subject matter experts to define features and metrics for modelsComfort implementing models from papersExperience handling large, noisy, or incomplete data sets and investigating data issuesOur RewardsWe offer a robust package of employee perks and benefits, including healthcare benefits (medical, dental and vision, EAP), competitive PTO, 401k match, parental leave, and HSA contribution match.
