A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a new Mammography Technologist to join one of their growing outpatient facilities in Brooklyn.About the Opportunity:Start Date: ASAPSchedule: Monday to Friday (at least 1 Saturday per month)Hours: 8:30am to 4:30pmDepartment: Radiology DiagnosticEMR: EpicResponsibilities:Provide X-Ray and mammography services to patientsReview medical information and interprets requisitions accuratelyReport all examination discrepancies to Radiologist, dept head and/or providers as neededKeep record/logs of all examinations performedDocument all examinations in the Radiology system in an accurate and timely fashionDocument all relevant patient medical information to aid the interpreting Radiologist in diagnosisCorrect any errors with archival of examinations in a timely fashionMonitor functionality of diagnostic equipmentObserve and report any malfunctioning of equipmentEnsure mammograms and X-Rays are of optimal quality and that all patient information is accurateEnsure examination rooms are stocked and cleanPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:A valid license as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOHPost-primary certification in Mammography issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Desired Skills:BLS certificationAbility to do both X-Ray and MammographySeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionHealth Care ProviderIndustriesHospitals and Health Care #J-18808-Ljbffr
