The Pediatric Emergency Medicine APRN will assess, diagnose, and manage episodic illness, injuries, and acute exacerbations of chronic disease of the pediatric patient. Responsibilities include performing history and physical examinations; ordering and interpreting radiological and laboratory test results; treating minor injuries; prescribing medications; documenting patient care services within the EMR and departmental records; and performing procedures within scope of practice and demonstrated through competency.
