Family Medicine Physician Job with Defense Health Agency Medical Civilian Corps in Beaufort, SCJoin to apply for the Family Medicine Physician Job with Defense Health Agency Medical Civilian Corps in Beaufort, SC role at PracticeLinkFamily Medicine Physician Job with Defense Health Agency Medical Civilian Corps in Beaufort, SC1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Family Medicine Physician Job with Defense Health Agency Medical Civilian Corps in Beaufort, SC role at PracticeLinkAs a Physician (Family Medicine), you will:Independently formulate full treatment plans based on sound evaluation and diagnoses, consistent with current and/or evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.Coordinate with facility and community resources to provide multidisciplinary comprehensive care, considering factors such as new procedures, patient history, and diagnostic tests.Provide some sub-specialty services within granted privileges when necessary, due to potential lack of consistent specialty support.Apply new procedures in evaluating and treating complex cases; conduct research for program advancement and quality improvement.Perform emergency services or crisis intervention, including life-saving procedures when necessary.Promote preventive and health maintenance care; educate and counsel patients on positive health behaviors and self-care.Encourage lifestyle changes; provide follow-up to ensure compliance and response to treatment.Assess fitness and suitability for duty and deployment of service members.Provide advice to other healthcare providers via phone or in person on urgent and non-urgent medical problems.Evaluate care quality, identify improvement opportunities, and participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, risk management, and peer review programs.Develop guidelines and training for medical staff and residents.Develop medical policies and standards of care within the facility.Participate in continuing education, attend conferences, and serve as faculty for the Family Medicine Residency Program, including training, mentoring, and supervising residents. #J-18808-Ljbffr
