Opportunity: Hematologist/Oncologist or Medical Oncologist — Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology or Medical Oncology.ResponsibilitiesJoin a collaborative team of 10 providers (8 physicians and 2 advanced practice clinicians) using an interdisciplinary approach to patient careProvide care at the main campus clinic overlooking Lake Superior, at an outreach cancer center, and consultative services in the hospitalAccess cutting-edge treatments, latest technology, and current oncology clinical trialsParticipate in the NCI Community Oncology Research Program with industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated trialsWork in a thriving intellectual environment with multiple tumor board and multidisciplinary conferencesAverage daily patient load includes 12-14 follow-up visits and 1-2 new patientsBenefit from hospitalist coverage for admissions and night callsUtilize EPIC electronic medical record systemCollaborate with specialty services including Medical Hematology/Oncology, Pediatric Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Oncologic Surgery, Interventional Radiology, Palliative Care, and HospiceServe a regional population of approximately 460,000QualificationsBoard Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology or Medical pensation & BenefitsCompensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
