Job Summary Provide quality MRI patient imaging in accordance with physician orders, ensuring patient safety and high-quality testing. Prepare the MRI room, process images, maintain supplies, and ensure equipment meets manufacturer standards. Operate MRI equipment safely, exercise professional judgment, and adhere to sterile techniques. Apply knowledge of growth and development to meet patient and family needs across all age groups. Essential Responsibilities Diagnostic Testing: Perform quality imaging, position patients correctly, evaluate image quality, and provide patient education tailored to age-specific needs. Customer Service: Offer timely, friendly, and expert service to patients, physicians, and staff. Maintain confidentiality and promote patient-focused care. Patient and Employee Safety: Maintain safe radiation levels, perform equipment checks, identify patients correctly, and respond to adverse reactions promptly. General Behavior: Arrive prepared, maintain a clean radiology room, communicate concerns, work effectively in a team, and comply with safety policies. Computer System: Accurately input patient data, check-in patients, and complete procedures in the departmental system. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) required at hire Radiologic Technologist Certification from ARRT required at hire Basic Life Support certification required at hire Additional Requirements Knowledge of MRI procedures and safety practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to problem-solve and provide excellent customer service Preferred Qualifications One year of MRI experience Experience with cross-sectional anatomy Work Details Location: Seattle, Capitol Hill Main Building Hours: 40/week, Day shift, Wed-Sat, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM Full-time, Regular Employee, Union: UFCW Local 3000 Kaiser Permanente is an equal opportunity employer.
