Care is delivered in person, virtually, and via asynchronous messaging as part of a proactive healthcare community.Job SummaryThe Nurse Practitioner provides patient-centered, comprehensive primary care services and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.ResponsibilitiesProvides patient-centered, comprehensive primary care servicesParticipates in selecting suitable treatment plans for all patientsSupervises staff to ensure care quality aligned with duties and obligationsAssists other care providers and extended care teamsMaintains continuous availability for medical and technical questions to employees, patient care staff, and ancillary care providers, including after-hours coverageParticipates in quality improvement and multidisciplinary quality assurance programsCollaborates with the management team to improve patient careSupports clinical outcome reviews and measurementsComplies with all policies, procedures, and protocolsProvides general medical care and treatment under the direction of a physician (state dependent)Submits health care plans and goals for periodic physician reviewPrescribes or recommends drugs or other treatments (e.g., physical therapy, inhalation therapy)May refer patients to physicians or specialized resources as neededPerforms other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine or Family PracticeBoard CertifiedLicensed to practice in the appropriate stateCurrent BLS certification requiredPreferred QualificationsProficient in promoting the clinicStrong communication skillsPhysical Job RequirementsMay require standing, walking, and sitting for extended periodsOccasionally lift and carry items up to 50 lbsManual/finger dexterity and hand-eye coordinationFull range of body motion with potential for handling and lifting patientsRequires corrected vision, hearing, and speech; effective communication with patients and teamCompensation and BenefitsThe base pay range for this position is $73.29 to $95 per hour. Pay may vary by location, knowledge, skills, and experience.
