Flexibility, adaptability, and a strong commitment to quality and accuracy in a top-tier healthcare environment are required.What You Will DoPerform Diagnostic Sonograms: Execute comprehensive diagnostic sonograms to demonstrate anatomy and pathology for physician interpretation. This includes preparing the patient and equipment and ensuring a clean and safe environment.Obtain Patient Information: Secure appropriate clinical information from referring physicians and services before each exam to ensure accuracy and relevance.Maintain Technical Excellence: Critically evaluate your own exams, recognize any sub-optimal techniques, and identify equipment malfunctions to maintain the highest quality of work.Ensure Mobility: Meet the physical demands of the role, which include performing portable exams and transferring patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.Work Across Multiple Sites: Be flexible to orient and work at various locations within the San Francisco campus, including both adult and pediatric care centers, and outpatient clinics.Cover Variable Shifts: Adapt to a flexible schedule that includes rotating 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, as well as covering weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed by the department.What You BringEducation: Graduation from a formal, accredited ultrasound training program in an approved school.Certifications: Current ARDMS credentials in Abdomen (AB) and OB/Gyn specialties are required.
