As the Cancer Institute Pharmacy Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our oncology pharmacy services. You will be responsible for managing a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and implementing best practices in medication management. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Interviews and assists in selection of candidates for professional and clinical positions in accordance with personnel policies and departmental requirements. Provides oversight to clinical and patient care pharmacists responsible for reviewing and assessing medication regimens or therapeutic issues affecting patient care. Provides oversight to pharmacists monitoring drug therapy to ensure appropriate recommendations are made based on patient needs. Serves as a drug information resource for staff clinical interventions. Under the guidance of the Director of Pharmacy Services, participates in developing departmental budgets and has authority to implement pharmacy resource utilization, expense, or revenue controls. Performs ongoing review, monitoring, and optimization of value-based outcome metrics for safety, quality, service, productivity, and fiscal objectives. Has authority to co-sign or approve pharmaceutical purchase orders, invoices, and payroll. Minimum Qualifications Education Pharm.D. (2 years post-graduate Pharm.D. or equivalent) preferred Experience 3-4 years related experience as a clinical pharmacist in a similar environment required 3-4 years BCPS residency; 3 years management experience preferred Licenses and Certifications Pharmacist licensure in the District of Columbia Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills preferred This position has a hiring range of $139,276 - $278,262. #J-18808-Ljbffr
