This position will provide high quality medical care. This role is posted at the Senior Instructor level; if the candidate’s experience exceeds Senior Instructor or the candidate desires a promotion track, Assistant Professor will be considered. If the candidate has additional experience, Associate Professor or Professor will be considered.ResponsibilitiesClinical CareProvide full scope direct patient care in an ambulatory clinical setting.Participate as needed in chart review and clinical coding compliance activities.Assist in supervision of advanced practice providers at the clinic.Assist in administrative/clinical quality improvement functions relating to a variety of programs at the direction of the medical director.Teaching and MentoringProvide education to medical students during their ambulatory rotation.Administrative/Professional DevelopmentMaintain eligibility for School of Medicine Faculty.Keep abreast of the latest developments in the field, both academically and through applied skill.Attend and present at conferences, meetings and trainings to maintain certification and enhance professional skills; participate in faculty development activities.Accept other responsibilities assigned by the Medical Director.Work LocationOnsite — this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Westminster, Colorado.Why Join UsThe Department of Family Medicine (DFM) mission is "To heal, teach, discover, and connect. Ability to be fully credentialed with the UCH system and UPI Managed Care.
