The RNI guides a team of 280 faculty members providing compassionate care, education, research, and outreach across diverse communities. The Institute focuses on developing innovative solutions for neurological and psychiatric conditions, including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, autism, stroke, paralysis, chronic pain, addictions, and traumatic brain injury.The Department of Neurology offers a full spectrum of therapies for neurologic diseases such as epilepsy, stroke, neuromuscular disorders, headache, immunology, and movement disorders. WVU is a Joint Commission approved Comprehensive Stroke Center and a Level IV Epilepsy Center.QualificationsMD or DO degree or foreign equivalent, eligible for state medical licensureCompleted neurology residency and epilepsy fellowshipBoard eligible/board certified in neurology and epilepsyThe successful candidate will also be involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, in addition to providing excellent patient care.About WVU MedicineThe West Virginia University Health System is the state's largest health system and employer, with expanded specialty care, a multi-organ transplant center, and a new 150-bed Children’s Hospital.
