Job DescriptionPrime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in Washington, District of Columbia.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Nuclear Medicine TechnologistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalDuration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 8 hours, daysEmployment Type: Travel**Must have an active VA State license at submittal. General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.): AHA BLS. Specialty certification requirements: Active VA state license, ARRT(N) or NMTCB certifications. 2 years experience; hospital experience is a plus. Must be able to start IVs. Ok with first-time travelers. M-F 0730-1600. Call: 1 weekday a week and 1 weekend a mon types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Stress testing - high emphasis. Cardiac Nuclear Stress, Lexi scans, MPI experience, Hyda, Bone, Gastric emptying, Lung and renal scans. Must be able to start IVs.How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 4 cameras. Average # of scans/studies per day: 6 to 10.EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System): EMR: EPIC, PACS: Visage.Department Specific Equipment: GE and Siemens. Imaging team wears black scrubs.Shift expectations: M-F 0730-1600. Weekend expectations: Weekend call once a month. Floating Expectations: None. On-call expectations: Weekend call once a month, 1 weekday a week. Holiday expectations: Worked into schedule. Epic access needed?
