OverviewNew Advanced Procedure Gastroenterology Locums Job in Georgia. Our client in Georgia is searching for a Gastroenterologist to assist with advanced procedure Gastroenterology coverage. The ideal candidate will be available two weeks per month ongoing. ResponsibilitiesProvide gastroenterology coverage with advanced procedures as required (ERCP and EUS required).Work an 8-hour day, Monday through Friday, with 24-hour call.Weekend expectations include approximately 4 hours in the hospital per day; no scheduled cases on weekends, but rounds, consultations and operations as needed.Privileging process can take 4–5 months.Two hospitals involved (one hospital is very low volume).Hospitals are approximately 7 minutes away by ternal Medicine physicians and residents will support the locum on site; continuing care when locum is not on site.Expect phone calls in the evenings; callbacks to the hospital are at a minimum.Will have virtual trainings, EPIC EMR training and modules to complete prior to start.RequirementsGastroenterologist with BE/BC credentials (as applicable) and ability to perform advanced GI procedures.ERCP and EUS required.Ability to work in a multi-hospital setting with on-site support from Internal Medicine physicians and residents.Additional InformationIn-house privileging coordinators and a direct-hire support structure are available.Weekly Direct Deposit; top-rated malpractice insurance; in-house travel agency; 24/7 recruiter availability. #J-18808-Ljbffr
