Gastroenterology Physician

OverviewThe EASTERN Oklahoma VA Health Care System (EOVAHCS) is seeking applications for the position of staff physician, Gastroenterology. We are looking for a board-certified, full-time employed physician to join our Gastroenterology department at the Eastern Oklahoma VA Medical Center Hospital. The ideal candidate will enjoy a busy clinical practice and be dual board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.We are specifically seeking someone with an interest in the combination of outpatient and inpatient consults and management. This role supports a 60-bed VA hospital in Tulsa and reports to the Chief of Medicine Specialty. This is a non-supervisory position.ResponsibilitiesProvide a mix of outpatient and inpatient GI care, including consults and management for Veterans.Collaborate with the Gastroenterology department to deliver comprehensive patient care.Operate within a busy clinical environment as a full-time staff physician.QualificationsBoard-certified in Gastroenterology.Board-certified in Internal Medicine (dual certification preferred).Willingness to work in a department that is expanding to better serve Veteran patients.Non-supervisory role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
