We prioritize our involvement amongst the hospital medical staff with committee participation and collaboration with the other disciplines to provide our patients with the highest quality care possible for their success and safety.Our site is small but mighty. Our hospital consists of a med/surg tele unit and an open ICU, predominantly serving as an IMCU. We possess the major specialties, including GI, that provide advanced endoscopy care, such as EUS/ERCP and urology.Qualifications:Board-certified/eligible physician assistants.Must have hospitalist experience as a physician assistant.Practice in the Heart of the CommunityFlexible Scheduling:This is a full-time nocturnist position with an array of flexible scheduling options.Key Responsibilities:Provide care and collaborate with a few teleservices (pulmonary/critical care, ID, Neuro).Assist surgeons with postoperative medical management.Keep close communication to limit gaps and expedite the progression of care.Assume responsibility for our patients and regularly collaborate through curbside consultations during multidisciplinary rounds, especially when faced with challenging cases.Living and Working in Fredericksburg:Fredericksburg isn’t just where we work it’s where we live and experience the heart of Texas Hill County.
