In this traveling role, you will provide essential diagnostic imaging services across various skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in the tri-state NYC area. You will be pivotal in delivering high-quality care, ensuring resident comfort, and upholding the high standards of professionalism that are central to our mission.ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, and vascular imaging (imaging Doppler studies-venous/arterial/carotid), and 2D echo of the heart, tailored to the needs of residents in skilled nursing and long-term care settingsOperate ultrasound equipment effectively to capture high-quality imagesPrepare and position residents for ultrasound exams, explaining procedures to ensure understanding and comfortReview and analyze ultrasound images, providing preliminary results to physicians in a timely mannerMaintain accurate patient records and reports in compliance with healthcare regulationsAdhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for residents and staffTravel to various facilities within the tri-state NYC area using personal or company-provided transportationCommunicate effectively with residents, medical staff, and administrative personnelStay updated with advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices through ongoing education and trainingRequirementsCertification in one of the following: ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography), CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International), or RVT (Registered Vascular Technician)Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation, required (Must have a vehicle)Proven experience as an Ultrasound Technician, with a strong understanding of ultrasound procedures and technologyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectively while travelingHigh attention to detail and dedication to providing compassionate, high-quality careFlexibility to accommodate varying schedules and travel requirementsPrior required experience in 2D Echocardiography and Doppler techniques100% travel commitment is requiredBenefitsCompetitive salary: $75,000 - $110,000HealthDentalVision401KCompany-Sponsored Life InsuranceCME Reimbursement and PTOPaid Time OffMalpractice InsuranceWhy Work With Us?Make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniorsWork in a collaborative, mission-driven environmentEqual Opportunity EmployerInfinite Medical P.C is an equal-opportunity employer.
