Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at the time of the offer.ResponsibilitiesAscension Seton is seeking a Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist to join Seton Brain and Spine Institute within a fast-growing Austin, TX market. The addition of this neurohospitalist position will allow for the creation of two separate services between General Neurology and Stroke.Position Highlights:Williamson County has three cities that are ranked in the top 100 fastest growing cities in the United States over the past year.ASW is an established DNV thrombectomy-capable or PSC+ in North AustinAverage patient load of 9 to 15 per dayDaily rounds on patients; predominantly consult serviceFull time APP coverage during weekdays and weekend daysAffiliation with Dell Medical School at the University of Texas AustinResponsibilities:Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinates discharge planning with case management.Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.Accepts patient referrals from other physicians.
