Anesthesia Technician

OverviewThis position is responsible for assisting the Anesthesiologist in all departments and with all anesthesia procedures, including expediting patient flow through the perioperative area, maintaining patient safety, and supporting customer satisfaction among external (patient, surgeon) and internal (Anesthesiologist, staff) stakeholders. The role includes set up, operation and some maintenance of specialized equipment, including life support, and assisting in evaluation and monitoring of patients during the perioperative phase. Assistance in sterile or isolation areas and participation in call rotation for continuous Perioperative Support Technologists (PST) at night, on weekends, and holidays.
