As a unified interdisciplinary team strengthened by common goals and collective wisdom, we work to build a nurturing environment where every patient experiences the highest quality of care and compassion at life’s end.ResponsibilitiesProvide regular communication with hospice staff, including clinical staff, regarding pertinent organizational and clinical issuesOversee the assessment, evaluation, intervention, and documentation of patient and family needsManage the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program as directed, including conducting quarterly Designated IDT/CQI and safety committee meetings, coordinating with committee members on assigned surveys and audits, ensuring the completion of all required audit results and reports, completing meeting minutes, and maintaining the CQI ManualEnsure the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) staffing meets the requirements of company ratios per censusOversee the maintenance of patient/client clinical records, statistics, and reports for evaluation and reporting of agency activities, ensuring all patient medical record documentation complies with company policies and local, state, and federal lawsDemonstrate the ability to direct, guide, lead, and support staffEnsure appropriate data collection and accurate report generationCollaborate with agencies and vendors for effective management of servicesEstablish and implement an overall growth strategyManage the financial resources of the company effectivelyHave strong communication and interpersonal skillsMaintain overall responsibility for the success of the siteExperience with multiple sites is highly preferredRequires the ability to travelQualificationsAssociates, Bachelors or Master’s degree in nursing or related fieldCurrent, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in state of OHMinimum of 2 years of clinical management experience, including the supervision of nursing staff in hospiceMinimum of three years of experience in hospice, home health, or a related organization, with an understanding of hospice care provided by an interdisciplinary teamBusiness-minded nurse leaderCompliance with accepted professional standards and practicesAbility to work effectively in an interdisciplinary settingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational, people, and problem-solving skillsKnowledge and understanding of reimbursement and appeal processesProficient in basic PC skills, including Microsoft Word and ExcelMust have a reliable vehicle/transportation, a valid driver’s license, required automobile insurance, and the ability to safely and independently operate the vehicleBenefitsBe part of a team willing to grow, listen, be heard, and be challengedHealth, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTOSet the industry bar for the standard of careCompetitive industry pay #J-18808-Ljbffr
