Family Medicine Core Faculty Physician

OverviewWe are hiring a Family Medicine physician to serve as a core faculty member for the Abrazo Health Network Family Medicine Residency Program, a community-based program that has served the Central Phoenix community for over 40 years. We are unopposed, 7-7-7, with rotating inpatient service. Labor & Delivery is not required. If this sounds like a position that you or someone you know would be interested in, please submit an application or reach out for more information!ResponsibilitiesServe as core faculty for the Abrazo Health Network Family Medicine Residency Program.Participate in rotating inpatient service on a 7-7-7 schedule.Provide patient care within a community-based practice setting.Collaborate with multidisciplinary and inter-professional teams to support resident education and patient care.Mentor and teach residents and medical students as part of the residency program.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The candidate must have a current unrestricted license to practice in the State of Arizona, a current DEA license for schedule 2-5 drug classes, and be insurable for medical liability. Board eligibility or certification in family medicine care specialty required. Candidates should have a passion for teaching Family Medicine and have a strong demonstrated commitment to providing patient-oriented approach to healthcare. Successful candidates will display a collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit, a desire to work in multidisciplinary and inter-professional teams and have excellent verbal and written communication puter skillsComputer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point) and ability to adapt to electronic health record input.Physical demandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
