Sanmina Corporation has facilities strategically located in key regions throughout the world.Director of Business DevelopmentJob Purpose:The Director of Business Development will develop relationships within target customer to penetrate organization and open doors to new business opportunities. The Director of Business Development skills should include strategic planning, project management and have demonstrated successful negotiations. This position will be our Customer's point of contact with introduction to all of Sanmina's capabilities and services.Nature of Duties:Identifying opportunities in target markets for all of Sanmina's products and servicesGenerating leads through cold calling prospective clients, or networking at trade showsDeveloping and nurturing relationships with key customer accountsKeeping up with the latest industry developments, including market positioning of corporate competitorsAssessing client needs and the company's ability to meet those needsFollowing up with new leads and referrals generated from the sales teamPreparing status reports on goalsUsing customer relationship management (CRM) software, such as Hubspot, to manage interactionsEducation and Experience:BA or BS qualified, MBA preferredMinimum of 12 years in industrial or component sales experience successfully meeting/exceeding goals and objectivesKnowledge of the EMS industry with background in manufacturing and a comprehensive understanding of global supply chain and OEM's manufacturing requirementsExcellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and closing skillsExperience working with vast remote cross-functional teams in large matrix organizationsExcellent MS Office skillsStrong project Management skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and organize actionsMust have strong negotiation skillsNeeds strong problem-solving skills and the ability to influence outcomesWill be responsible for presenting to (internal) executive teams and conveying the status of the business and growth opportunitiesWill work closely with Operations Management to insure goals, objectives and budgets are met.Ability to travel worldwide to Sanmina's manufacturing locationsBottom of FormSanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer - M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity #J-18808-Ljbffr
