We invite you to apply today.Summary Of JobThe Chief Information Officer develops and implements the organization's IT and telecommunication strategy to support the business goals. Works closely with Executive Management and other Health System stakeholders and partners to identify technology opportunities that improves the organization's experience, enhances the quality of care for the patients and improves operational efficiency. Additional key areas of responsibility include planning, customer service, overseeing the successful delivery and optimization of systems that support business operations and the financial accountability for the information systems and telecommunications departments throughout HRHS.Connecting To MissionThe senior management develops Holy Redeemer's vision, objectives, strategies and tactics to achieve our mission in a way that engages both the imagination and the energies of our employees. The VP/CIO position has a responsibility to ensure the connection to mission is inherent in internal staff and is also responsible to engage partners and vendors in the mission of the System and ensure their actions are consistent with mission expectations.Recruitment RequirementsMinimum of 10 years of progressive management experience in a healthcare systemBA/BS degree in computer science, business or Healthcare Administration required, MBA or Master's degree is a plusSuccessfully led a hospital Electronic Health Record implementationExceptional abilities in IT leadership, subject matter expertise and a track record in developing and implementing IT and telecommunication strategies that provide value to the customer baseStrong financial acumen ensuring that technology expenditures align with the organizations' financial goalsStrong experience overseeing IT operations, enterprise systems, cybersecurity and vendor managementExcellent oral and written communication and presentation skills are requiredAbility to direct and manage multiple complex projects at the same time. Ability to ensure processes and workflows are reviewed, changed and optimized as part of all technology deployment.Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situationsHighly self-motivated and directedKnowledge of and interest in non acute care delivery systems (lifecare, homecare, hospice) is preferred.Must be a change agent and facilitator for the organizationDemonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the IT user communityEqual OpportunityRedeemer Health is an equal opportunity employer.
