Working closely with stakeholders across R&D, Finance, Commercial, and IT, you’ll guide decision-making on our oncology portfolio and help us execute strategies that make a real difference for patients.ResponsibilitiesLead analytics to support annual business cycle planning, including strategy and long-term planningConsolidate long-term forecasts and analyses to guide investment in our Oncology portfolioPartner with Global Portfolio, Finance, R&D, and Commercial teams to ensure strategic alignmentShape valuation assumptions and help develop SET and Board-level presentation materialsDrive cross-portfolio and market-level analyses to support critical decision makingOversee, enhance, and maintain commercial data systems (OYSTER, Reference Patient Funnels, etc.)Champion new tools and platforms to drive efficiency and transparency, including AI and cloud-based solutionsManage and support forecasting, business review meetings, and key enterprise assumption inputsEssential Skills & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in science, technology, or businessMinimum 5 years’ analytical experience in pharma/consulting; oncology expertise strongly preferredAdvanced analytical and financial skills; expertise in Excel, modelling, and presentationsExperience with market research and forecasting; familiarity with large pharma data setsStrong communicator who can develop clear narratives from complex dataAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-changing environmentDesired QualificationsAdvanced degree (Master’s, MBA, PhD) preferredTrack record of leading complex projectsKnowledge of both commercial and R&D financeExperience supporting senior executive meetings and decisionsWhy AstraZeneca?Here, you’ll be empowered to speak up, take smart risks, and make your mark. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits include a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage.
