This role involves business development within the Diagnostics Group, with experience in building restoration, parking rehabilitation, renovation, and building enclosure issues. The candidate should be energetic, self-motivated, and capable of working within a team to serve clients across the US and internationally, demonstrating technical expertise, proactivity, and assertiveness.Job Duties:Preparation of proposals and responses for RFQs and RFPsDevelop project tasks, review, and organize project documentsResearch building codes and industry standardsLead assessment report preparationConduct field investigations, including non-destructive testing (travel required)Prepare repair/design options, drawings, and specificationsOversee construction and installation, including quality assurance testingInteract with clients, sub-consultants, and contractorsSkills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience with CAD and structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS, RAM)Expertise in building structural systemsExperience working at heights and on suspended scaffoldingQualificationsMaster's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structures (preferred)7+ years of relevant experience with growthProfessional Engineer (E. or S.E.) license requiredAbility to secure new clients and generate businessStrong communication skillsAbility to multitask and meet deadlinesCustomer service orientationWalter P Moore is an equal opportunity employer. A one-time $1,000 stipend and a $50 monthly stipend are provided to support home office setup and expenses.Salary Range$127K - $151K in Seattle.
