OverviewStore Manager at Soapy Joe’s. This role provides an opportunity to develop leadership skills in a dynamic environment. Previous car wash experience is not required; our Manager In Training program prepares new managers for success. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds, including traditional retail, sales, and service industries, who demonstrate confidence, natural leadership, and self-motivation. With rapid expansion across San Diego County, we are actively hiring multiple positions.ResponsibilitiesProvide impactful leadership to enhance organizational performance.Engage team members to prioritize safety, improve operations, and drive performance.Optimize profits by meeting forecasts and ensuring top-notch customer satisfaction.Mentor and guide a team of 11 to 15 customer service attendants and representatives.Collaborate with the Operations team to achieve corporate and facility goals, motivating all staff to meet objectives.Oversee hiring, staff development, scheduling, evaluations, discipline, and retention efforts.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.Provide regular reports to the District Manager and SVP of Operations.Maintain Soapy Joe’s positive reputation with internal and external stakeholders.Manage all aspects of facility operations, including reporting and addressing maintenance issues promptly.RequirementsMinimum 2 years of management/leadership experience with multiple direct reports.Preferred experience in retail or service industries, emphasizing team leadership and customer service.Proven ability to develop others, coach performance, and lead teams to success.Track record of driving KPIs and sales.Strong organization, accountability, time management, and problem-solving skills.Flexible schedule availability, including nights and weekends (typical Thursday closing and Sunday/Monday off).Benefits & CompensationCompetitive salary: $71,760 per year401k matchComprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits with generous employer contributionMonthly bonus eligibility for Store ManagersCompany-paid financial advisors, EAP counseling, life insurance, AD&D, LTDOngoing training and development opportunities, including quarterly classes and unique learning experiencesPay Grade system rewarding managers for competency development and KPI successReady to join our team and drive success with Soapy Joe’s?
