Promote and execute strategic vision for laboratory services. Ensure adherence to financial, operational, and quality goals, and compliance with internal and external regulatory organizations and agencies.Essential Job FunctionsDevelop service level agreement with hospital executives for all laboratory services in the regionWork with regional finance and operations leaders to set targets and monitor performanceLead cost savings and financial improvement initiatives across markets in the regionChampion best associate experience by promoting and implementing industry-leading practicesMonitor and reduce employee turnover ratesOversee Laboratory Outreach and Business Development in the regionAlign with group business development to support expansion of care delivery sitesOversee internal and external customer service surveys/scoresEvaluate send-out testing and develop plans for insourcing within group core labDevelop and execute standardization of laboratory test menus and processesWork with medical directors to establish and achieve quality initiativesAccountable for quality events and driving the laboratory’s performance to the ministry’s goal of Zero HarmSuccession and workforce planningThis document is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or working conditions associated with the job.
