What You Will Do As the Program Director, you will have oversight and be responsible for coordinating and managing the overall assigned program or programs (residential and/or day program) in relation to individuals with developmental disabilities (IDD). This position is a mixture of both direct care and supervisory duties. Personnel management and program coordination including ensuring orientation and ongoing training. Monitor all aspects of the program including developing individual goals and plans and implementing the program. Coordinate and manage the overall operations, medical, financial and maintenance aspects of the programs, through guiding and directing the designee of the site. Hours and Details Monday – Friday 8am-5pm (Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to be on call when needed, including weekends) Travel between different programs located in Meriden, Windsor, New Britain and Wethersfield (Mileage reimbursement is provided) Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a human services field preferred At least 1 year full-time direct experience with participants with developmental or intellectual disabilities At least 2 years of experience in management and working with individuals with developmental disabilities Strong decision-making, time management, communication skills; responsible, mature, and flexible Valid driver’s license Additional Information At Dungarvin, diversity and inclusion are part of what makes our organization strong.
