Overview Job Title: Director, eCommerce. Department: Marketing. Reports To: VP, Consumer Channels. We are seeking a strategic and performance-driven eCommerce expert to lead the day-to-day operations and optimization of and remax.ca, as well as global, luxury and commercial properties. This role is responsible for driving high-quality lead generation, improving conversion rates across the sites, and overseeing organic traffic and merchandising initiatives that directly impact attracting consumers to the brand and connecting them with agents and offices. This role will work cross-functionally with a team including SEO, email marketing, site merchandising, content authorship, and conversion analytics. This individual will collaborate closely with marketing, product, and technology stakeholders to ensure a seamless and impactful digital experience for consumers, with a focus on full-funnel performance and measurable business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Own and optimize key eCommerce and lead generation flows across all consumer websites, with a focus on consumer engagement and connecting with agents Lead the development and execution of strategic site merchandising plans based on marketing priorities and user behavior Drive SEO strategy, execution, and reporting — including keyword planning, technical audits, and content optimization Manage and scale email marketing programs, including campaigns, automation, and lead nurturing flows Drive conversion rate optimization through A/B testing, UX enhancements, and data-informed improvements Set and monitor KPIs for eCommerce performance and report results regularly to key stakeholders Do the work and also coach a team of subject-matter experts including SEO, email marketing, content creation, site merchandising and conversions Collaborate with analytics, product, engineering, and brand teams to deliver cohesive user experiences Maintain fluency in key eCommerce and martech platforms, including SEO tools, analytics systems, content management tools, and email platforms Identify and test new opportunities to increase lead volume, traffic, and conversion efficiency Leadership and Team Development Help develop a cross-functional team responsible for merchandising, traffic, content, and optimization Provide coaching and clear performance expectations aligned with departmental and business goals Collaborate with product, brand, marketing and operations teams to align efforts with larger strategic priorities Contribute to a culture of experimentation, iteration, and continuous improvement Stay ahead of eCommerce, lead gen, and SEO trends to inform innovation and strategy Champion the digital roadmap and advocate for the consumer experience within cross-functional forums Experience and Education 5–8 years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or lead generation — preferably in consumer-facing, performance-driven environments. At least 2 years managing direct reports or cross-functional teams. Preferred Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field Licenses, Certificates and Skills Strong knowledge of SEO, email marketing, and conversion rate optimization Hands-on experience with tools such as SEMrush, Conductor, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, GA4, Adobe Analytics, Optimizely (or similar testing platform), and WordPress (or similar CMS) Proven ability to lead web merchandising efforts and optimize site journeys for lead capture Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret digital performance metrics into actionable insights Experience collaborating with creative, technical, and data teams to execute high-impact web initiatives Bonus: familiarity with the real estate industry, franchise networks, or lead marketplace models Standard Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Technical/Functional Expertise: Has knowledge of eCommerce, website optimization, and marketing performance tools. Stays current with SEO, CRO, and lead gen best practices. Customer & Relationship Focus: Champions both the consumer and the agent experience. Collaborates effectively across teams and builds positive working relationships. Decision Quality: Uses data and insights to make sound decisions, prioritizes effectively, and adjusts course as needed. Drives for Results and Quality: Takes ownership of deliverables, drives toward measurable results, and holds team to high standards for execution and impact. Compensation Hire Range: $140,500 - $160,000 Actual compensation offered to candidate will be finalized at offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location. The offer rate represents one component of the RE/MAX Holdings total compensation package. Employees will also receive a number of benefits as listed below.
