You will encourage strong team engagement and a healthy culture by ensuring clear roles and responsibilities, setting appropriate expectations, holding team members accountable, and delivering a great guest experience as a team.To be successful, you will maximize opportunities for sales and traffic growth and inspire your team. Core Responsibilities TEAM Ensure the store is fully staffed for upcoming shifts; keep store schedules up to date and written in a timely and effective manner; plan staffing with bench considerations and development. Develop engagement strategies and foster continuous internal growth. Build and maintain a high-performing team through goal setting, accountability, inspiration, and consistency using Caribou tools. Execute and train on role-based programs, promotional window training, onboarding, and other training initiatives. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and recognition to support development and a positive work environment. Model and uphold policies and standards; ensure a safe and supportive environment for team members and guests. Use Caribou systems and tools appropriately and on schedule. GUEST (& Quality) Lead by example to inspire exceptional guest experiences and a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and fun. Resolve employee/customer relations, supply chain, and asset management issues timely. Improve guest satisfaction, speed of service, and loyalty through actionable insights and initiatives. BUSINESS Drive store performance with passion and vision to increase sales, profitability, and operational excellence. Adhere to scheduling standards for inventory, admin, promotional windows, holidays, and required in-store presence. Manage supply chain and asset management to ensure timely replenishment and efficient resource use. Apply financial planning to manage store budgets and company finances. Analyze Operating Statements and trends; adjust as needed to support top-line growth and expense control; ensure ethical cash flow management. Create energy and focus on meeting and exceeding sales goals; support operational excellence for in-store initiatives. Manage inventory and waste to minimize loss; maintain food safety and sanitation standards. Qualifications Required: Minimum 1-2 years of restaurant, retail, or guest service management experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Must be 18 years or older. Reliable transportation. Ability to work full-time (approximately 47 hours per week); includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Willingness to learn new systems and tools as introduced to support the business. Preferred: ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment. Experience with sales building, P&L, recruitment, and training. Keen aptitude for store systems (Toast, CrunchTime, GoSpotCheck, EcoSure, TeamworX, Medallia, Workday, Beekeeper, etc.). Valid driver’s license and high school diploma or GED. Physical Requirements Feeding into the role: bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for 4 to 8 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
