The Restoration General Manager reports to the District Director with accountability for providing excellent service for those who have been victims of disaster and for restoring property and lives with a servant’s heart.The Restoration General Manager is primarily responsible for managing the daily operations of the office, including direct oversight of office and field personnel. He/she will serve as Estimator and/or Project Manager of Large Claims as needed; and/or any other role needed for the branch’s health. They should embody Jenkins Restorations’ core values, including, Can-do Attitude, Excellent Execution, Do the Right Thing, Actions of a Servant, and Responsible Stewardship (C.E.D.A.R).Job ResponsibilitiesOFFICE STRATEGY & BUDGETING: Develop and implement office strategy with management team, manage budget, review profit margins, and handle concerns as they arise.STAFFING & FACILITIES: Conduct annual performance reviews, handle staffing issues, review payroll, forecast staffing needs, and ensure facility maintenance.CLAIMS OVERSIGHT: Supplement efforts on claims, serve as Estimator for large losses, serve as Project Manager for large losses, handle warranty complaints, and communicate program changes to the claims management team.Qualifications And SkillsEducation: Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or university with a record of strong academic achievement.Experience: At least one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Language SkillsThe Restoration General Manager must possess the ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively to customers and/or employees of the organization in the English language.Technical SkillsTo perform this job successfully, the Restoration General Manager should have knowledge of industry-related software, be able to type, and be familiar with software like Microsoft Office Suite.Reasoning AbilityThe Restoration General Manager should possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, and other hazards.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has supervisory responsibilities.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
