OverviewDescriptionBe the not-so-spooky and whimsical faces that staff our hay mazes, candy trails, family friendly attractions, and themed zones during Boo Fest. No prior experience needed! You must be at least 16 years or older to apply and are looking to fill daytime shifts. We will work with your schedule! Interested?ResponsibilitiesInteract with children and families inside our family friendly attractions and zonesTransform into a friendly creature costumesGreet and interact with the public at special park functionsTake on a character role during Boo Fest. Think fairies, sprites, scarecrows, witches, etc.Maintain a friendly character persona and safety at all timesBe playful and friendly with an outgoing personalityWork in an environment as fast-paced as our coastersRemain in character at all timesCreate a family friendly, positive experience for guests of all agesWear assigned make-up, masks, costumes, prosthetics, and other costuming materials as necessaryOperate a small propListen to direction from attractions leadershipKeep escape routes and work locations cleanQualificationsMust be at least 16 years of ageMust be able to stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of timeMust be willing to perform in an enclosed costume with limited sightlinesSpecific height and weight may be required for proper fit in specific costumesMust have a good attitude, appearance, and participate as a member of a teamMust be able to cooperate well with other staffMust be able to comply with Six Flags policy and standardsMust be able to work a flexible schedule including daytime hours, weekends, and holidaysMust be available for rehearsals/training starting in early SeptemberMust be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditionsMust be professional, self-motivated, able to multi-task, and have an enthusiastic attitudeMust have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with othersOther Functions: All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a wholeEqual Opportunity Employer.
