OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Director of MarTech AI and Operations to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving our marketing technology strategy and operations, leveraging AI to enhance our marketing capabilities and deliver exceptional results.The Senior Director, MarTech, AI & Operations plays a pivotal role in enabling efficient and scalable marketing execution across Autodesk. Reporting to the VP of Digital & eCommerce (known internally as DEC), this leader ensures the right tools, processes, and governance are in place to support global marketing efforts.The role partners closely with IT, eCommerce, product, industry, content strategy, marketing teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders. It also serves as the primary bridge between Worldwide Marketing (WWM) and Autodesk’s GET (IT) organization. This position focuses on delivering operational excellence, advancing MarTech capabilities, and driving the adoption of AI and automation to improve customer experience and marketing productivity.ResponsibilitiesAdvance the MarTech Modernization agenda, gathering requirements from WW Marketing, advising on platform selection, and leading implementation and optimization, in partnership with GETDrive the operationalization and adoption of AI and automation, including supporting pilot use cases, championing training, and establishing responsible AI governance in partnership with the Marketing AI Center of ExcellenceOversee the governance of content across marketing channels, ensuring compliance, brand consistency, and adoption of high-conversion best practices on web, email, and StoreEnsure smooth and scalable global execution, enabling campaign activation and content publishing across geographies through centralized tools and servicesScale experimentation and optimization capabilities, embedding A/B testing and performance measurement into marketing workflows to drive ongoing improvementManage a high-performing, global team of senior leaders across technical and operational domains, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and collaboration – ensuring alignment with Autodesk's business goals and OneORBIT valuesOversee the implementation and optimization of AI-driven marketing technologies to enhance customer engagement and drive growthCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of marketing technologies across the organizationFoster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging the team to take smart risks and make bold decisionsBuild and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability in all interactionsDrive relentless pursuit of results, setting high standards for performance and delivering on commitmentsMinimum QualificationsProfessional experience: 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in MarTech, AI, Marketing Operations, and Data Analytics roles, with a proven track record of leading global, complex transformation initiativesChange Management: Exceptional at guiding organizations through significant shifts, with a focus on driving user adoption and achieving sustained outcomesTechnical expertise: A thought leader in the use and implementation of modern AI applications and marketing technologies, including hands-on experience with AI and automation toolsLeadership: Proven ability to lead and develop a globally distributed team, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and collaborationCollaborative orientation: Exceptional communication, storytelling, and influencing skills to drive user adoption across the organizationMarketing Operations: Proven experience integrating people, processes, and technology to optimize and scale marketing efforts, driving efficiency, data management & campaign successEvangelist: Ability to champion the advancement and adoption of marketing technologies, driving cultural changes that enhance marketing processes and customer experiencesEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related professional experience; an advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) is preferredLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $196,200 and $317,460. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
