This role oversees technology asset management, IT operations, cloud engineering, product development, and vulnerability management.Job DutiesOwns and manages the lifecycle of all technology platforms, including refresh cycles and asset managementLeads IT operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of technology servicesOversees infrastructure, including data center operations, network engineering, server and storage administration, and disaster recovery/business continuity planningDirects cloud engineering and cloud platform management, ensuring secure and efficient cloud adoption and operationsGuides product development, including enterprise applications, software development, and product management teamsManages vulnerability management processes, ensuring timely identification and remediation of security risksProvides leadership to directors and managers across IT operations, infrastructure, technical support, product management, system engineering, product development, and IT asset managementDevelops and maintains technology roadmaps, aligning with business strategy and driving innovationEstablishes and enforces technology standards, policies, and best practicesCollaborates with business leaders to identify technology opportunities and support digital transformation initiativesManages technology budgets, forecasts, and resource allocationEnsures compliance with relevant regulatory, security, and privacy requirementsFosters a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence within the technology organizationRepresents technology interests at the executive level and communicates technology strategy to stakeholdersSupervisory ResponsibilitiesDirectly manages IT Operations Director, Product Development Director, Director of IT Asset Management, and associated managers and teamsOversees hiring, training, development, and performance management of technology staffEducationQualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Bachelor’s degree, required; focus in Computer Science or Information Systems, preferredExperienceFifteen (15) or more years of experience in technology management, requiredTen (10) or more years of experience as a senior leader of organization, requiredFive (5) or more years of experience working in the Accounting, Banking or Financial Services industries, preferredExperience building and leading high performance teams, requiredExperience with regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA), preferredLicense/CertificationsCurrent Microsoft certifications, preferredSoftwareProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, requiredStrong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, software development, and cybersecurity best practices, requiredFamiliarity with ITIL, DevOps, Agile methodologies, and modern IT governance frameworks, requiredOther Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to develop and execute technology strategy aligned with business goalsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong vendor management and contract negotiation skillsIndividual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.National Range: $280,000 - $325,000Maryland Range: $280,000 - $325,000NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $280,000 - $325,000About UsJoin us at BDO, where you will find more than a career, you’ll find a place where your work is impactful, and you are valued for your individuality.
