Role DescriptionOur firm seeks a visionary, mission-driven, and experienced leader to orchestrate the launch and growth of this new nonprofit initiative. The candidate will oversee all aspects of the organization’s strategy, operations, donor and volunteer relations, fundraising, programming and participant engagement. This is an opportunity to lead a high-impact organization from the ground up and shape meaningful changes across the region.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a strategic plan aligned with the organization's visionOversee daily operations, staff, vendors, and programs to ensure operational excellenceRecruit, supervise, and manage a small team of staff and contractorsDevelop and execute fundraising strategies to drive revenue growthCultivate and maintain relationships with donors, volunteers, and key stakeholdersManage finances, budgeting, and reporting with transparency and accountabilityServe as the primary spokesperson and ambassador for the organizationBuild and maintain strategic partnerships with funders, civic leaders, and local organizationsEnsure compliance with nonprofit regulations and sector best practicesPartner with the Board of Directors on governance, planning, and performanceLead recruitment and engagement of new board membersQualifications and Education RequirementsMust be a resident of Sarasota or Manatee Counties.7 or more years of progressive leadership experience in the nonprofit sector.Strong track record in fundraising, strategic planning, and financial management.Knowledge of Sarasota and Manatee County community needs and nonprofit landscape.Strong professional network and donor base within the community.Excellent public speaking, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.Experience working with or reporting to a Board of Directors.Established community connections within Sarasota and Manatee County to help strengthen local engagement and partnershipsPrevious board service experience with a nonprofit, community organizationBachelor’s degree required, advanced degree in nonprofit management, public administration, business, or related field preferred.Demonstrated commitment to equity, empowerment, and community impact #J-18808-Ljbffr
