We’re on a mission to revolutionize patient care with groundbreaking medicines.What You'll Be DoingAs the MQ Tech at Lilly Sr. Director at our new Site, you’ll spearhead the IT landscape, reporting to both the M&Q IT VP and the Manufacturing Associated VP Site Head. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the Digital agenda and transformation for these facilities.Depth knowledge of regulatory compliance (cGMP).Proven leadership prowess and team-building excellenceAgile management of simultaneous projects, with a knack for adapting to shifting priorities.Collaborative spirit with cross-functional teams.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.A creative and analytical mindset, equipped to resolve complex issues.Deep Technical Knowledge on Pharmaceutical manufacturing and IT/OT footprint to support the site.Demonstrated creativity, analytical thinking, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure site operational readiness from IT perspective. Site start up and integration of IT systems including:InfrastructureWarehouse management & logisticsData historian, Real Time Floor TrackingDigital PlantLaboratory information managementCAPA systemsAccess SecurityBuilding MonitoringRisk ManagementMES (Manufacturing Execution System)Member of the Site Leadership Team and provide IT site functional leadershipDevelop and implement site IT strategic and business planBenchmark on innovative solutions (external and internal to Lilly)Dynamically adapt road map to site evolution/strategic directions, and new trends/issuesPartner cross functionally locally and globally to establish and implement site IT roadmapResponsible for maintaining a safe work environmentPeopleEnsure staffing to meet the site and functional agendaLead, coach, and develop members of the teamEstablish a strong site culture based in Lilly values, expectations, and operational excellence standardsSupport diversity, equity and inclusion in recruiting and development of team membersLead recognition, pay and promotion decisionsLead talent assessment and succession planning activitiesSupport site recruiting building IT capabilityOperational ExcellenceEnsure IT organization is functionally strong and operationally centeredEnsure solution focused organizationProvide prioritization and barrier removalProvide oversight of technical activities within the groupEffectively encourage knowledge sharing and educationBasic QualificationsA Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Engineering, or a related technical field10+ years of leadership in Pharma IT, with a focus on API Manufacturing.10+ years expertise in MES, Data Integration, and Advanced Analytics.Additional PreferenceStrong experience with MES system implementations, Data Integration and Advance Analytics.Flexibility to localize in any part of USPosition will be based out of Indianapolis, IN site with ability to travel to other US and global Lilly sites as required and up to 50% of the time.Lilly is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities to actively engage in the workforce, ensuring equal opportunities when vying for positions.
