OverviewJoin to apply for the General Manager role at Papa JohnsThis position oversees all operational aspects of a Papa Johns restaurant, ensuring profitability through effective leadership, planning, forecasting, and adherence to Company policies, procedures, programs, and systems. The General Manager ensures compliance with all federal, state and local laws and ethical business practices, and may assume Operations Manager duties when that role is unavailable or unfilled.ResponsibilitiesMonitor product quality and customer service standards, identify deficiencies, and address issues with direct reports. Respond professionally to customer concerns, solicit feedback, and use it to improve restaurant operations and brand loyalty. Oversee training and execution of quality standards.Oversee recruiting to meet staffing needs and enforce uniform and appearance standards. Establish performance expectations, conduct timely performance reviews, document issues, and take disciplinary action if needed. Coach and develop staff and implement team recognition programs to reward and retain high performers.Manage sales goals against budget by ensuring prompt, friendly service; analyze and address deficiencies in sales trends. Seek additional sales through local marketing and community presence.Manage profit goals against budget by controlling food, labor, and other costs, and correcting deviations using the restaurant’s systems. Plan and manage inventory levels to meet demand and minimize loss.
