Job SummaryThe General Manager is responsible for daily store operations, including scheduling, training, supervising employees and the assistant manager. They oversee store profits and all controllable expenses such as labor, inventory levels, and cash and inventory shortages.ResponsibilitiesAssist in recruiting, recommending for hire, and training positive individuals to ensure excellent customer service in a high-volume C-Store/Gas Station.Motivate, encourage, and challenge store cashiers.Promote and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.Implement and enforce daily operating procedures to keep the store clean, stocked, organized, and well-maintained.Ensure merchandise is stocked, displays are attractive, correctly priced, and safely presented.Maintain quality brand standards to pass evaluations.Supervise and discipline all store employees and the assistant manager.Monitor daily retail gasoline plete daily paperwork and computer entries as per management guidelines.Monitor cash over/short, inventory shrinkage, and drive-offs daily.Conduct store meetings at least once a month with employees.Perform all duties of a store cashier regularly, with the physical ability to do so.Understand and utilize all information in daily store operations reports.Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures.Implement monthly promotions and ensure POS advertising/signage is properly municate and execute price change requests, markdowns, and ups as directed.Report merchandise pricing issues to management.Enforce merchandising and vendor policies and procedures.Ensure safety and security measures are followed and report unsafe conditions.Conduct regular safety and security meetings, documenting attendance with signatures.Report and process employee or customer incidents or accidents.Education & ExperienceCollege education preferred.3 to 5 years of management experience required.Experience in grocery, hot food, and ordering merchandise required.Please submit your resume via email.
