General Manager (Mexico) Allen Control Systems (ACS) is a cutting-edge defense startup founded by two ex-Navy electrical engineers with a proven track record in robotics and software. We are developing a small, autonomous gun turret that employs advanced computer vision and control systems to precisely target and neutralize small drones and loitering munitions. Position Overview We are seeking a highly experienced General Manager to lead our operations in Mexico. This individual will own full P&L responsibility, shape and execute business strategies tailored to local market dynamics, and ensure alignment with ACS’s global objectives. The ideal candidate is a proven operator with a strong background in scaling organizations, managing financial performance, navigating regulatory environments, and building high-performing teams. What You’ll Do Leadership & Strategy: Own the P&L for Mexico, setting and executing business strategies that align with global goals while adapting to local realities. Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations across all functions to ensure efficiency, compliance, and scalability. Financial Management: Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, with a strong focus on unit economics and sustainable growth. Talent & Culture: Recruit, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a high-performance, mission-driven culture that reflects ACS values. Government & External Affairs: Represent ACS with regulators, policymakers, and strategic partners. Anticipate and navigate local political and regulatory landscapes. What You’ll Need Experience: 8 years of senior leadership experience as a GM, Country Manager, or similar role in a high-growth company. Education: MBA or equivalent advanced degree in business, management, or a related field. Operational Leadership: Demonstrated success owning P&L, scaling teams, and managing cross-functional operations.
