Our business model focuses on integrity, loyalty, and trust.Position OverviewThe Operations Senior Analyst provides advanced analytical and programmatic support to Army G-8 leadership, ensuring force development and modernization objectives are effectively represented in Army and Joint decision forums. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of HQDA staff operations to coordinate across the Secretariat, Army Senior Leader forums, and the broader modernization enterprise. The analyst conducts data-driven assessments, develops strategic products supporting the POM build, SPAR, and program reviews, and performs quality control on senior leader briefings. By integrating DOM equities with Army and Joint priorities, the analyst delivers actionable recommendations that strengthen decision-making, resourcing strategies, and long-term modernization planning.Essential Job FunctionRequirements and Acquisition OversightApply JCIDS (AR 71-9, CJCSI 3170.01) and Defense Acquisition System (DoDI 5000.2) processes.Review and analyze JCIDS/acquisition documents for Army and Joint boards (AROC, JROC, JCB, FCB, etc.).Prepare DCS G-8 leadership with recommended positions, supporting analysis, and documentation.Data Analysis and Business IntelligenceExtract, analyze, and validate data from Army equipping/resource systems (AE2S-M, CAMS, LAQA, ETR, LQA, cQUIP, AESIP, ECOP, FMSWeb, cPROBE).Build and deploy Business Intelligence and automation tools (SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, MS 365) to support force development operations.Program and Resource ManagementSupport Army programming, budgeting, and execution (POM, PPBE, SPAR).Develop and present investment and funding options, prioritizing RDT&E and procurement resources.Validate AAO/APO requirements and assess impacts of Program Decision Memoranda and congressional actions.Coordinate allocation/distribution planning with ASC (LMI) and update monthly equipping data.Force Development and ModernizationContribute to modernization strategies aligned with Army priorities (ReARMM, MDO, AimPoint, NDS).Participate in TAA, FFR, ARSTRUC, AMEC, ASRC, and AR2B processes to validate requirements and resolve shortfalls.Analyze doctrine, training, sustainment, and threat impacts to ensure programs meet operational needs.Leadership Support and CoordinationProvide timely products (EXSUMs, smart books, information papers) for senior leaders, including rapid assessments within four hours.Coordinate with ASA(ALT), PMs, HQDA Staff, Joint organizations, and OSD counterparts.Support Army Senior Leader and Modernization Enterprise forums by integrating DOM equities into discussions.Strategic Communication and ReportingDevelop and maintain budget justification documents, strategic communication plans, and leader smart books.Deliver program briefings, strategic products, and decision-support documents for senior leader forums.Conduct quality control of portfolio briefings, leadership reviews, and presentation formats to ensure accuracy and clarity.Subject Matter ExpertiseApply in-depth knowledge of HQDA staff processes, structure, and interactions.Provide expert analysis and options to DOM hardware divisions, ensuring equities are represented in POM/SPAR development.Support strategic-level analysis of Army requirements and modernization issues for decision-making at the senior leader level.Minimum QualificationsBachelor8;s Degree or higher in Business or Engineering fieldA minimum of four (4) years experience and expertise in Force Development duties;Secret Clearance requiredMust have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of how the HQDA staff works and how the various organizations and components with the HQDA secretariat and staff terdisciplinary skill set of PPBE, DOD acquisition processes and procedures (DoDI 5000.2) as well as expertise with materiel and /or force structure requirements development and validation (JCIDS).Desired QualificationsUnderstanding and/or completion of the followingHTAR;RQM 1010/ CLR 101;RQM 1100 series / RQM 110;RQM 3100/310; CLR 151;RQM 2500/CLR 250;RQM 2520/CLR 252;Certified in related field.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision coverageLife insuranceShort term/long term coverageRetirement savings – 401(k)Paid time off (PTO)Holiday leaveAlternate work schedules (depending on work site)Flexible spending account optionsApplicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
