Oversees the quality and success of Goldfish Swim School daily operations including staffing, pool operations, cash management, customer service, retail and vending departments, private party operations, and workplace employee activities.Duties and Responsibilities:Directs and controls the daily operations to ensure the school is running per GSS standard operating procedures.Manages the staff of GSS to ensure high productivity, excellent performance, and positive employee satisfaction.Trains and oversees the aquatics department to provide superior swim instruction to the students of teracts with Deck Supervisors on issues related to class scheduling, student progress, customer service, and employee performance and training.Provides sales and marketing training to all qualified sales staff.Provides direction in the retail and vending departments to ensure a proper mix of products and pricing.Trains and oversees private party staff to ensure that the GSS standard operating procedures are maintained.Gains knowledge and experience with scheduling software to achieve competence in bookings, class scheduling, reporting, and administrative functions.Gains a high level of knowledge and experience in GSS pool operations to maintain a safe and sanitary swim itiates and oversees workplace employee activities (“Fun” Department) to improve employee satisfaction.Directs and oversees the implementation of the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and safety procedures, training all staff accordingly.Maintains current certifications and stays professionally updated in aquatics and management fields.Schedules staff and manages payroll.Fulfills other duties as assigned by the Employer.Safety Standards:The safety of swimmers, parents, and team members is paramount. GSS follows CDC and WHO safety standards along with local guidelines. Additional safety measures include:Sanitization of high-touch areas during each shift.Disinfection of pools with chlorine to ensure safety.Use of a state-of-the-art ventilation system to circulate fresh air, minimizing airborne virus transmission.Education/Experience:High school diploma or GED required. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, or similar is preferred. Experience as a youth sports instructor, camp counselor, or aquatics instructor/supervisor is advantageous. Management experience of 3-5 years is preferred.Certificates and Licenses:Required certifications include Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, AED, and Certified Pool Operator. Lifeguard Instructor certification is highly encouraged.Work Environment:Exposure to heat and humidity is common. Noise levels are usually moderate. #J-18808-Ljbffr
