As we enter an exciting phase of growth, new and existing employees have a tremendous opportunity to grow alongside the company as it scales.PayBase salary starting at $140,000 annually, plus performance-based incentive programHow Your Role Fits InAs the General Manager (GM) for our Tukwila distribution center, you will be responsible for the 24/7 multishift operations of a food-grade facility. This position will be responsible for planning, delegating, coordinating, staffing, leader development, continuous improvement, organizing, decision making, and working directly with our customer base.What You’ll DoCustomer Engagement: Handle all customer inquiries, complaints, and notifications in a timely manner as requested.Team Management: Direct a group of approximately 5 supervisors and a total of 100 facility staff.Employee Development: Motivate, coach, and appraise employee performance, fostering a productive and positive work environment and ensuring employees are equipped with the skills needed for their roles.Leadership Training: Participate in leadership training programs to enhance management skills and effectiveness as well as coach, influence, organize and manage a team toward a common goal.Financial Aptitude: Ability to understand, explain, prepare, and manage economic and accounting information related to budgets and P&L for operations.KPI Management: Track, update, and execute on customer and WOW KPI’sPerformance Review & Appraisal: Write and conduct performance reviews to assess and enhance employee performance. Prepare corrective actions and follow up as necessary, ensuring timely resolution of issues.Policy Enforcement: Uphold company policies consistently and fairly to maintain compliance and workplace standards.Safety Compliance: Promote a safe work environment, adhering to OSHA standards, food safety standards, and assisting in safety training sessions and meetings to promote a culture of ventory Management: Manage inventory to occupancy limits and address discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and munication: Develop content for communication meetings to facilitate effective team communication.Time Management: Ability to manage resources and time to organize and complete work within deadlines.Problem-solving/Project Management: Drive continuous improvement with the ability to find a solution, work toward proactive management and direct to completion.Food Safety: Provide best in class food safety leadership and execution.Additional Duties: Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.What It Takes To SucceedExperience: 3+ years of management experience, including financial P&L responsibilityEducation: Bachelor’s degree in business management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar field preferredAdditional skill sets: Proficiency with MS Office suite, Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
