This includes recruiting, hiring, and training a store team to achieve an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities Inspire store team to achieve their best performance Execute to maximize growth and potential Create an engaged and inclusive store environment Elevate the customer experience through operational excellence Exceed customer expectations in all interactions Leads store staff in meeting sales, service, and operational expectations Sets clear performance expectations and ensures staff is trained in sales, customer service, and operations to meet company standards Models company values and leads by example as an active coach Communicates priorities and sales driving information to maximize business opportunities Guides team to identify, recommend, and implement changes to improve productivity Takes the lead role in recruiting for store and embraces diversity by creating an inclusive store environment Achieves store business plans, including sales, customer service and operational goals Develops game plans and follows up on execution to maximize sales and drive performance Partners with data to make informed decisions and leverages store reports Participates in driving business outreach opportunities and communicates leads to relevant teams Identifies performance opportunities and develops plans with Regional Manager to address issues Ensures store schedule accuracy to support staffing for initiatives, Ship-from-Store, and customer coverage Ensures staff is trained on internal operational functions and stays informed on directives, initiatives, policies, and procedures Maintains brand standards in store presentation and marketing initiatives Creates an engaged and inclusive store environment where opinions are valued Supports learning and development with training tools Serves as a role model and provides enthusiastic leadership Maintains a pipeline of external talent through recruitment Holds regular store meetings to keep team updated on directives Leads a customer-focused culture and ensures an exceptional customer experience Leads the team to exceed customer expectations and drives NPS Uses customer feedback to take action and resolve concerns Ensures store is visually set to brand standards and marketing initiatives are executed Qualifications Minimum 3-years’ experience leading, managing, and developing retail teams Creative individual with good judgement and business acumen Self-motivated, results oriented, strategic thinker Strong organizational and leadership skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Active listening and problem-solving abilities Proven ability to train and develop high performing store teams Proficient in technology systems, applications, Microsoft Office, and video conferencing Ability to operate a computer and POS system Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift, frequent bending, squatting and twisting Lift up to 50 lbs Climb a ladder to reach merchandise or supplies Ability to see and distinguish between fabric patterns and colors Pay Range $28 - $33/hr depending on skills and experience You may have the opportunity to voluntarily work between multiple store or site locations, and across multiple brands.
