We provide high-end technical services, research and development, and prototype solutions to some of the country’s most challenging technical problems.All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship.Position OverviewRiverside Research is seeking dynamic, strategic, operational, and growth focused Technical Project Managers focused on providing innovative solutions to the Defense and Intelligence Communities for our Fairfax, VA office.The ideal candidates will have a sharp business mind, be an excellent leader, have technical credentials and the proven ability to manage technical staff to produce cutting-edge solutions. Ultimately, you are motivated by the desire to deliver critical solutions achieving mission impact and nurture your team’s success.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain effective customer relationships with a variety of stakeholdersCollaborate with the government customer and company leadership to develop long-term strategies and prioritize near-term taskingCultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with government and contract mission partners across the intelligence community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD)Provide technical leadership, oversight and direction while also actively participating in the development an application of technical solutionsExecute with minimal oversight program management duties that include, but are not limited to, managing day-to-day operations, maintaining work plans and timelines, tracking and projecting program spending, preparing status reports/briefs, and ensuring program status is communicated to all stakeholdersWork closely with the customer, cross-functional teams, and assigned engineers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, resources, work plan, budget, and scheduleManage subcontracting, consulting, and procurement activities for assigned programsAssess program issues and develop resolutions to meet schedule, quality, and customer goalsIdentify and capture new growth opportunities to expand business portfolio and technical offeringsOther duties as assignedQualificationsActive TS clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCIBachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field8+ years of DoD/IC experience with at least 3 years directly supporting NGA or NRO programsDemonstrated experience creating and presenting reports, briefings, and program related information to a variety of government and internal stakeholdersExperience executing complex projects, short deadlines, and competing prioritiesExperience managing financials across a variety of projects and contractsDemonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and ability to work independently and as a team player in both technical and management tasksExcellent communication, problem-solving, time-management, leadership, and organizational skillsDesired QualificationsActive TS with SCI eligibility within the last 2 years (able to obtain CI Poly) OR Active TS/SCI CI PolyTechnical background in autonomy, sensor orchestration, analytic tool development, software development, or a similar related areaExperience identifying and executing on-contract growth opportunitiesExperience building and growing new business with DoD/IC customersEntrepreneurial spirit with demonstrated expertise driving and building new product linesExperience leading, participating in and executing capture and the proposal development process10+ years of direct experience supporting NRO and NGAGlobal Comp$120,000- $205,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.Closing StatementRiverside Research Institute is a not-for-profit, technology-oriented defense company, where service to our customers and support of our staff is our overall mission.
