The process to get there should be fun and challenging.OverviewAs a Seasonal Store Manager, you will be responsible for opening, staffing, and most importantly driving sales, while maintaining good visual standards and effective operational controls within your store. Our Seasonal Managers create an engaging and fun experience for our customers and a rewarding and fun environment for our associates. Successful managers are sales focused, KPI (key performance indicators) driven, high energy, and enjoy servicing our guests and managing a small Associate team.Essential FunctionsLeadershipDrive team morale by celebrating successes involving great employee performance, achievement of sales goal, great attention to detail, etc.Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc.)Be a shining example of a professional with high performanceRetail SalesMeet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff.Be aware of our consumer marketing initiativesParticipate in our promotions to maximize salesEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent serviceDrive sales and provide a great experience for guestsWork with your Area Sales Manager to maximize sales resultsMerchandise the product and follow our visual direction and standardsCreate an Active Selling environmentStaff ManagementHire a great seasonal teamTrain your staff to provide outstanding customer service and train your staff on these standardsManage staff payroll and schedules, including store payroll budgetMonitoring the performance of personnel and provide coaching and feedback as neededTalent managementWork with ASM with all employee relations, disciplinary issues and terminationsStore OperationsMake daily bank depositsManage the store, inventory, loss prevention etc.Abide by company policies, procedures and represent the company in a positive fashionEnsure the store meets health and safety regulations and company processesAssemble the storeManage the store openings and closingAdhere to mall guidelines and continue the great relationships Go!
