Responsibilities will include:Active participation in a cross functional team to ensure the product configuration is accurate and will meet customer needsFamiliarity with product option architecture conceptsDriving the implementation of customer special configurations on system shipmentsAssisting/Driving the planning of new developmental material on system shipments and to customers in the field including forecasting and driving unreleased material to support shipmentsWork with product management to drive engineering project prioritization to develop new products and featuresMust have ability to pivot quickly given changing prioritiesLead projects to improve product cost and qualityMust haves:Basic technical understanding – ability to pick up on technical concepts and terminology; Bachelor’s degree of an Engineering or Science discipline would be a good indicatorQuick learner and ability to adaptGood organization skills; ability to keep organized in a fast paced, dynamic environmentOwnership – this person will need to be able to take actions and projects and drive to closure, ideally with less oversight over timeNeeds to be able to work well with others; this role requires a fair amount of interaction with engineers of various disciplines as well as product and program managementGood understanding of MS Office/Excel/Powerpoint. Knowledge of SAP is a bonus, but not a must have. Ability to learn new software workflowsMinimum QualificationsBachelors degree, preferably in an engineering or technical field.Knowledge of MS office product is required.
