This is an opportunity for experienced banking professionals to originate retail and commercial loans and to lead and grow a team while driving the success of the organization in Texas.The position will be crucial in the growth and development of the Texas market and team. Primarily responsible for the lending team, but accountable for growth in loans, deposits, identifying potential branch locations, improving brand awareness, image, and market penetration. The candidate should have a strong background in credit, sales, lending, leadership, and preferably some loan workout experience.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute strategies to increase loan origination and deposits within the assigned marketOversee and manage the performance of loan officers and other staff membersFoster strong relationships with key clients and referral partnersStay updated on market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunitiesEnsure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policiesEssential Job FunctionsOriginate retail and commercial loans, meeting or exceeding sales targetsProvide guidance and support to loan officers, assisting them in closing complex loan transactionsCollaborate with credit and underwriting teams to ensure timely and accurate loan processingConduct market analysis and identify areas for business expansionRepresent the bank in various community and industry eventsMust Have Skills And Experience10+ years of experience in originating retail and commercial loans in a banking settingProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsStrong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a teamStrong background in CreditExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsIn-depth knowledge of banking products, services, and regulationsBenefitsOur client company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, and a 401k retirement plan.
