OverviewPosition: Multi Farm Complex Sr. General ManagerCompany: Daybreak Foods, Inc.Job summary: Directs production and processing operations through a team of functional managers and front-line supervisors across multiple sites within a region or a large complex facility. Ensures increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of manpower, materials and machines.ResponsibilitiesManage policy deployment in Lean Manufacturing techniques, quality, cost reduction, complete and on-time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual controls and plant performance measures.Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development.Lead problem resolution to enable faster improvements and stronger working relationships.Manage material requirements to increase inventory turns and reduce on-hand levels.Ensure compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and on-time delivery.Balance work cell capacity/loading across the plant.Provide leadership through a 12-month planning cycle; determine headcount needs and ensure compliance with company policies.Oversee capital investments and improvement projects; ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.Perform other related duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree (preferably in Poultry Science) or equivalent work experience in the poultry industry.10 years of prior poultry management experience, preferably in egg production.Strong understanding of operation and maintenance of equipment used in egg production and processing; extensive knowledge of poultry management, care and nutrition of chickens.Knowledge of maintenance needs of barns, mills, tractors, vehicles in an agricultural environment; understanding Bio-Security needs and animal welfare practices.Strong communications and team-building abilities.Ability to meet essential duties; reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Application instructions: E-Mail a résumé to ; Apply Online: ipc.us/t/C6D6D940772448C8; Fax a résumé: (920) 648-2869.
