Job DescriptionCEO II — Department of TransportationResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of a Caltrans Maintenance Supervisor and/or the Caltrans Landscape Maintenance Leadworker, the incumbent performs labor work and equipment operation in connection with fire reduction zones on State highways. May assist regular spray/landscape crews with additional spraying and vegetation management activities after high fire risk areas have been completed. You must answer the questions addressing your CDL on your application. Ensure you provide your CDL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions.The position requires a Drug Screening be passed prior to being hired.The position requires a valid unrestricted Class A commercial driver’s license, with Tank Vehicle (N) endorsement.Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle.This position is subject to the Post & Bid process.
